Frequently asked questions

  • Command unavailable: run npm install @goodvision/cli @goodvision/sdk, then use npx --no-install goodvision; confirm that the project's node_modules/.bin is available.
  • Configuration missing: pass --config ./goodvision.json or create configuration at the default location. Existing files are never overwritten by initialization.
  • Exit 3: check the application, environment, identity type and Schema Scopes. Restore user authorization, then explicitly invoke the original task.
  • Exit 4: read the current revision, original idempotent operation or lease before submitting again.
  • Exit 5: preserve the original request and idempotency key and query the unknown outcome. Exit 130 means cancellation; a cancelled write also requires checking the original result.

In Codex, ask: “Use GoodVision CLI to discover public APIs for this application, inspect the Schema, preview the request, then execute after confirmation.” Check catalog registration, credential acquisition and business authorization separately. The CLI does not install Agent configuration or Skills and does not provide QR application creation, terminal auth login/logout or third-party business workflows.
